Managing the Stop-List
Instructions on how to add out-of-stock items to the stop-list and manage menu availability in the RestIQ system.
When a product or dish runs out of stock in the restaurant, it is essential to add it to the stop-list to prevent staff from ordering it. Follow these steps:
On the main screen, tap the menu button located in the top right corner.

From the drop-down menu, select "Stop-List" (სტოპ-ლისტი).

The stop-list management panel will open. Menu categories are displayed on the right side. To add an item to the stop-list, simply find the desired item within its category and tap it. If you haven't added anything yet, the left side will show that the stop-list is empty.

For example, if you select "Gin Tonic" and "B52," they will automatically move to the left side into the active stop-list, and a red exclamation mark (!) will appear on their menu buttons.

To clear the entire stop-list at once (e.g., when all stocks are replenished), tap the "Clear" (გასუფთავება) button in the bottom right corner of the screen.

If you only want to remove a specific item from the stop-list (e.g., "B52"), tap the delete (trash can) icon next to its name in the left-hand list.

Items added to the stop-list are visually blocked on the main sales (order entry) screen with a red "STOP" sign, preventing waitstaff from placing an order for them.
